dy-HEX-ah
A potent cognitive peptide that promotes new brain connections — millions of times more potent than BDNF at stimulating neural growth.
Also known as: N-hexanoic-Tyr-Ile-(6) aminohexanoic amide
Last reviewed: April 2026
Dihexa enhances the brain's ability to form new connections (synaptogenesis). It works by activating the HGF/MET receptor system — the same system that drives brain development and repair. In animal studies, it was effective at doses millions of times lower than BDNF, making it extraordinarily potent for cognitive enhancement.

Week 1–2
Some report improved mental clarity and focus.
Month 1
Enhanced learning capacity and memory recall.
Month 3+
Sustained cognitive improvements. Synaptogenesis takes time.
Overall: Mild
Headache
Possible as neural activity increases.
Overstimulation
Some report feeling 'wired' at higher doses.
• Active cancer (promotes growth factor signaling)
• Pregnancy
• Limited human safety data — use with caution
• Limited data — inform your provider of all medications
Pregnancy: Not studied in pregnancy. Avoid.
Dihexa is more potent per-dose than other cognitive peptides. Less human data available. Cerebrolysin has more clinical trial support.
Cerebrolysin
A brain-derived peptide mixture used globally for cognitive recovery — contains neurotrophic factors that support brain repair.
Semax
A synthetic brain peptide derived from ACTH that enhances focus, memory, and neuroprotection — developed in Russia.
Selank
A Russian-developed synthetic peptide that reduces anxiety and supports immune function — based on the body's natural tuftsin molecule.
We don't currently offer this peptide — but we have protocols for similar goals.
